Copper powder filter
This filter device is mainly used for filtering lubricating fluid during the processing of copper wire drawing machines. It can effectively remove impurities and copper powder particles in the lubricating fluid, attach the impurities and copper powder to the non-woven fabric, and then automatically reel them up or guide them into the dirt box, ensuring the cleanliness of the lubricating fluid and preventing it from deteriorating. The whole process is continuous and automatic, making it an ideal supporting equipment for copper wire drawing machines; thereby extending the service life of the lubricating fluid, while reducing workers' labor intensity, lowering production costs, and reducing the pollution of waste coolant to the environment.
This filtration device consists of a dirt box, copper powder filter frame, conveyor chain, reduction motor, turntable, water trough, filter paper, liquid level detection switch, and electrical control box. All major components have been treated for corrosion resistance. It operates smoothly, quietly, safely, and reliably, making it an ideal auxiliary filtration device for modern industrial production.
How it works
The coolant after use in the wire drawing machine flows into the copper powder filter through the pipeline, and flows into the lubricating liquid pool after being filtered by the non-woven fabric. The dirty particles and copper powder are intercepted by the filter paper and continuously accumulate on the non-woven fabric and form a new filter layer with the non-woven fabric, which improves the filtration accuracy. As time goes by, the filtration efficiency decreases, causing the float of the liquid level control sensor to rise. When the liquid level rises to the set sensor switch position, it sends a signal to control the motor to start. The motor rotates to drive the conveyor chain to rotate, and the conveyor chain holds up the filter cloth and rotates together. The discarded filter cloth is transported to the dirt box, and the clean non-woven fabric is rearranged. A working cycle is completed, and the equipment works in this way over and over again; the device has a simple appearance, small size, light weight, and is easy to install and use.
The copper powder filter is named after the semicircular closed filtering device composed of a turntable, horseshoe chain, and filter paper. Compared with the flat paper belt filter, it occupies a smaller area and has higher efficiency.
